Blake and Reed had their football award night on Monday the 21st. Blake recieved an award for being a smart football player. There were two sets of awards. One for 3.2 grade point average and one for 3.5 and above. He recieved the award for 3.5. Blake and one other boy were the only ones who had their names marked in the program to have a 3.8 or above. We thought that was pretty cool!

I am glad that Blake got the top academic award. He is so smart and does such good work. He's a great example of the true student athlete. I think he should skip undergrad and come straight into graduate school. He'd do well here. The other boys should count themselves lucky that Blake broken his arm this season - otherwise the Risenmay's would have taken home all the awards. :)
